x now shows which of your posts got your reach limited

x's under the hood report now lists the specific posts that got a visibility-limiting label. only for accounts at least a year old with 10+ posts last month.

what changed

x's under the hood report used to show counts: how many of your posts got a label, and what that label does.

on 30 october x's open source account announced it now shows which posts received a visibility-limiting label. per gigazine, the specific posts are listed when fewer than 5% of your posts in the period are affected.

who gets it

per climbx, you need two things:

  • an account at least one year old
  • 10 or more posts in the previous month

miss either one and you get the requirements instead of a report. x calls it a pilot, so access can change.

what the report shows

  • labels on single posts, with what they mean and what they do
  • labels on the whole account, which matter more because they hit every post
  • since september, posts withheld in a country after a legal demand

the page lives at x.com/i/jf/under_the_hood. there's no menu link.

why it matters for a creator business

most reach problems on x are invisible. now, on older accounts, you can see which post types trigger labels.

fresh accounts don't get the report. there you're still guessing.
